NALC/BTA Toilet Tax Survey & Resurrected Non Domestic Rating [Public Lavatories] Bill 2019-21.

The campaign to end the toilet tax continues as you know, so please see the following link to a NALC / British Toilet Association (BTA) ( ) and complete this short evidence survey by 1/5 to help us gather ongoing evidence as to why the toilet tax has to end as soon as possible – thanks.

The resurrected Non Domestic Rating (Public Lavatories) Bill 2019-21 to finally end the toilet tax was re-commenced a few weeks ago in the Commons but Commons second reading was deferred from 30/3 due to coronavirus – see here.

The evidence gathered from the survey will be of use at later stages of the bill.  We’ll monitor to confirm when after Easter recess, second reading in the Commons will be.

Important to keep you abreast of this bill I think after so many years of lobbying.
