Bardney Group Parish Council - vacancy for a Clerk/RFO
This role is office-based at Bardney Group Parish Council.
The Parish Council's responsibilities include cemetery management, allotments, grass cutting, and village maintenance.
Role requirements:

The ability to set agendas for full council and sub-committees and attend all appropriate council meetings.

To have good communication/people skills, excellent written and verbal skills, and a good knowledge of bookkeeping and budget planning, ability to meet deadlines, good organisational skills, and proficiency with IT including website updates.

Able to demonstrate knowledge of local government procedures, finance, and law.

Have the willingness to attend relevant LALC clerk training courses as required by the council and/or seminars on the work role of the clerk.

Be required to also attend additional evening or daytime meetings.

Be willing to undertake any other duties as they may be reasonably required from time to time.
Salary: Dependent on experience and in accordance with NJC National pay scales. (£14.60 -£19.86 per hour).
Hours: 20 hours per week (typically 9.30am to 3.00pm Tue Wed Thu) with spare hours used for evening meetings.
