Benington Parish Council - vacancy for Clerk

Benington Parish Council has a vacancy for a Parish Clerk.

The successful candidate:  

• Will advise the council and ensure council compliance with legislation and best practice.  

• Will have excellent communication and people skills, as you will need to liaise with Councillors, Borough and County Council representatives, members of the public and third party organisations both written and verbally.   

• Will have a proven record in bookkeeping and budget planning. 

Start date is expected to be 1st July 2026.

Annual salary of £4,400.00. 

Hours: 4-6 hours per week (approximately)

Place of work: Working from home, with attendance at meetings at The Beonna, Benington.
