Claypole Parish Council - Vacancy for a Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer (RFO)
Claypole Parish Council has a vacancy for a Parish Council Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer.
The successful candidate will have first-hand experience of working as a Clerk for a Town or Parish Council. You must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the governance required within the Parish Council and the legal responsibilities involved.
You will be suitably qualified (ideally with or be willing to obtain CiLCA – the Certificate in Local Council Administration), highly motivated, enthusiastic and community focused, you will bring sound leadership, staff management, administrative, communication, IT, financial and organisational skills and be flexible in approach and able to meet deadlines.
The ideal candidate would also have a FILCA qualification – Financial Introduction to Local Council Administration.
Salary: SCP 24 – 28 dependent on experience.
Hours: 8-10 hours per week.
Place of work: Work from home & attending Council Meetings (held in Claypole Village Hall).
