A clear and practical introduction that combines the essentials of AI with the foundations of an effective AI strategy for councils. This session explains what has changed for 2026, highlights safe and useful tools for everyday tasks, and shows how clerks, officers and councillors can plan for responsible adoption across their council. Delegates leave with an informed starting point for both practical use and longer term strategic thinking. We'll also cover the fundamentals of AI bias, transparency and data protection issues.

AI Part 2 - AI for Community Engagement in 2026 10/06/26 (Zoom - 90 mins)

AI Part 3 - AI for Council Operations in 2026,  01/07/26 (Zoom - 90 mins)

Each event remains at 90 minutes long, and is delivered on Zoom. Each event has been completely re-written and refreshed, and comes with a delegate resource pack, which will be issued after the session.

Each session is £40 plus VAT per delegate, however should you individually book and attend ALL THREE sessions, LALC will offer you a discount and invoice you £80 plus vat in total, giving you the 3rd session FREE.
