Join us for CiLCA training
This is the recognised Level 3 professional qualification for Clerks. Five units with 30 learning outcomes.
Candidates need to have demonstrated that they meet the assessment criteria to an expected standard evidenced through a submitted portfolio.
Training is provided by accredited trainers at LALC with assessment through SLCC.
The introductory session is available for candidates to decide whether they are ready to pursue this qualification. To obtain CiLCA it is advisable that you have at least 12-months' experience of local government procedures. This is a Level 3 qualification equivalent to A' Level standard and you will need approximately 200 hours to complete your portfolio.
During the CiLCA introductory day you can discuss your availability to attend the face to face and remote online training dates and decide which will be most suitable for you. If you cannot attend dates in this cycle you may be able to mix and match and catch up in a later course cycle.
The LALC fee to attend is currently £275 which includes training and 6-months mentoring. Once modules are ready to be submitted to SLCC to obtain the CiLCA qualification the current fee is £450 payable to SLCC.
