First Aid At Work—delivered by: 

 

Upon Completion Participants will receive a certificate in recognition of demonstrating competence in Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW).

The certificate is valid for 3 years.  

You will learn basic lifesaving First Aid and the relevant regulations, covering:

• Insight into Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations

• Managing an incident

• Priorities of First Aid

• Resuscitation

• Blood loss

• Treatment of an unconscious casualty

• Treatment of shock

• General discussion on common workplace injuries

• Treatment of Choking
