Holland Fen with Brothertoft Parish Council - Vacancy for a Clerk/RFO
Applications are invited for the part time position of Clerk/RFO to Holland Fen and Brothertoft Parish Council.
Working from home, you will be provided with a council laptop. The council holds 6 meetings a year.
Hours: 3 hours per week.
Duties include:

Ensuring the council conducts its business lawfully

Look after all the council’s paperwork
-
Managing the council’s finances, including preparing the precept/budget
-
Ensuring meeting papers are properly prepared and posted within the correct period of time
-
Actioning the council’s decisions
-
Keeping up to date on legal and procedural issues
-
Undertaking appropriate training
-
Attend meetings of the Parish Council
Skills required include:

Good IT
-
Experience of Microsoft Office
-
Good written and verbal communication skills
-
Basic accounting/book-keeping
Salary: £1,900 per annum.
