Holland Fen with Brothertoft Council has a vacancy for a Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer.
Requirements

Attendance at Parish Council meetings, usually held on the first Tuesday of May, July, September, November, January and March, and other Committee meetings on an ad-hoc basis.

Excellent communication and people skills, as you will need to liaise with Councillors, District and County Council representatives, members of the public and third-party organisations both in writing and verbally.

A proven record in bookkeeping and budget planning

Well organised and able to meet deadlines.

Proficiency in Microsoft office packages

Proficiency with social media and IT including website updates.

Willing to undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time. You may be required to attend additional evening or daytime meetings.

Able to attend training courses or seminars on the work and role of the Clerk as required by the Council.
Salary: £2000 per annum. Additional monthly expenses.
Hours: 3 hours per week.
Place of work: Work from home.
