Holland Fen with Brothertoft Parish Council - Vacancy for Clerk/RFO

Holland Fen with Brothertoft Council has a vacancy for a Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer.

Requirements

  • Attendance at Parish Council meetings, usually held on the first Tuesday of May, July, September, November, January and March, and other Committee meetings on an ad-hoc basis.

  • Excellent communication and people skills, as you will need to liaise with Councillors, District and County Council representatives, members of the public and third-party organisations both in writing and verbally.

  • A proven record in bookkeeping and budget planning

  • Well organised and able to meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office packages

  • Proficiency with social media and IT including website updates.

  • Willing to undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time. You may be required to attend additional evening or daytime meetings.

  • Able to attend training courses or seminars on the work and role of the Clerk as required by the Council.

Salary: £2000 per annum. Additional monthly expenses.

Hours: 3 hours per week.

Place of work: Work from home.
